Ron joined the EDGE team in early 2012 as a research assistant. By that time he was in the early stage with his masters thesis, using data from one of EDGE’s pilot studies. Previously he has worked mainly short time jobs in customer service and relationship management within the financial industry and in sales.

Now working as a project researcher, Ron is a true multitasker at EDGE and has several responsibilities simultaneously. He posses an entrepreneurial can-do attitude and have a crucial role in designing and executing studies as well as analyzing results, giving presentations regarding EDGE’s research, managing relationships with stakeholders and authoring reports among others. Ron’s comfort zone is within consumer behavior and media consumption. Despite his eye for and sense with research, his true interest is in applying research into practice. Thinking analytically about the larger picture with a drive for development Ron gets most inspired by new alternative ways of doing things.

At Åbo Akademi University, Ron has additionally been working part-time as a teaching assistant, managing workshops and giving lectures to a group of 150+ undergraduate students. During his years of study he also attended an exchange period at Copenhagen Business School, expanding his study programme and interest in media, Internet marketing and innovations.
