The programme leads to the Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration 120 credits degree and consists of following compulsory and optional modules

  1. Compulsory courses in information and knowledge management (100 credits) including
    1. Introduction to information and knowledge management
    2. Information architecture and knowledge organisation
    3. Competitive intelligence
    4. Knowledge management
    5. Information strategies
    6. Marketing management
    7. Seminar in information and knowledge management
    8. Master’s thesis in information and knowledge management
  2. Compulsory language studies (0/5 credits)
  3. Optional courses (15-20 credits) including, for instance
    1. Informetrics
    2. Information management
    3. Database analysis and design
    4. Social media
    5. Management of information in digital environment
    6. Information behaviour
    7. Supply Chain Management
    8. International marketing in business networks
    9. Other relevant courses offered by the different departments of Åbo Akademi University
