The following scholarship categories are available:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>100% Tuition Fee Scholarship (waiver), awarded for 2 years (second year conditional)<br \/>\nNumber of scholarships to be granted:\u00a0<\/strong>2\/ programme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00c5bo Akademi University wants through this scholarship to recognize motivated applicants who have performed well in their previous studies. This scholarship is granted to a limited number of admitted applicants. The second year is conditional and the scholarship holder will need to show that he\/she has kept a steady pace in his\/her studies and will be able to graduate within two years (the progress of the studies is checked in May). The decision to grant this scholarship is based on: the academic performance of the applicant in his\/her previous studies, how well the applicant meets the programme requirements, and the answers the applicant has given in relation to his\/her motivation and goals.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>80% Tuition Fee Scholarship (waiver), awarded for the whole length of the study right<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Number of scholarships to be granted:\u00a0<\/strong>This scholarship is granted to all admitted applicants liable to pay tuition fees, who have not received a 100% Tuition Fee Scholarship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tuition-fee-liable applicants apply for the scholarship as part of their application for admission during the application period. Applicants will find, in the application form, a set of questions evaluating motivation and communicative skills, academic goals, and general interest in the field. The applicant\u2019s answers will be assessed by the programme and the scholarship committee. The scholarship committee decides which category will be awarded to each admitted applicant. The decision on the granted scholarship will be included in the admission letter. If your status with regards to tuition fees changes during your studies you can apply for the scholarship also during your studies, in which case you will be awarded the 80% tuition fee scholarship (waiver).<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nFinland scholarship\u00a0<\/strong>(for students admitted 2023-2024)<br \/>\n<strong>Number of scholarships to be granted:\u00a0<\/strong>1\/ programme<\/p>\n<p>Finland scholarships awarded by \u00c5bo Akademi University are part of the national Finland Scholarship programme. This scholarship will be awarded to\u00a0<strong>the most merited applicant in each programme.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Finland scholarship covers 100% of the tuition fee for two years, the second year is conditional and requires that the student has earned at least <strong>55 ECTS<\/strong> during the first year of studies. In addition, the applicant is awarded\u00a0<strong>a one-time 5000\u20ac relocation grant<\/strong>, which will be paid to the student, to a Finnish bank account, once he\/she has arrived in Turku\/Vaasa and enrolled as present for the academic year.<\/p>\n<p>Tuition fee-paying (non-EU\/EEA) applicants applying to our master&#8217;s degree programmes are eligible to apply for the Finland scholarship. To be considered for the Finland scholarship you must apply for it as part of your application for admission during the application period. Applicants will find, in the application form, a set of questions evaluating motivation and communicative skills, academic goals, and general interest in the field. The applicant\u2019s answers will be assessed by the programme and the scholarship committee. The committee decides which applicants will be awarded a Finland scholarship.
