The course introduces the participants to logistics and supply chain management with an emphasis on distribution and sales channel strategies. Efficient logistics and sales channel management are essential for organizations to deliver products and services to customers in a qualitative, timely and cost-effective manner. In particular last-mile delivery has a large impact on customer satisfaction and provides the company with challenges. During the course we will explore the impact of logistics on customer satisfaction as well as discuss and analyze various distribution models and sales channels for different kinds of customers, B2B and B2C.

  • Describe basic theoretical concepts and models within logistics and supply chain management with a special emphasis on distribution and sales channel management.
