Professor Tapio Westerlund has been invited to join the editorial board of Journal of Global Optimization (JOGO) from 2012.

JOGO is a Springer journal dealing with theoretical and computational aspects on global optimization and its applications in science, management and engineering. It is the seventh highest ranked journal in the subarea control and optimization of mathematics in 2011, by SCImago Journal Rank, SJR.
