Nordstat 2014 arranged in Turku

The 25th Nordic conference in Mathematical statistics was held at University of Turku on June 2-6, 2014. NORDSTAT is a biennial meeting organized by the Nordic and Baltic countries and in 2014 the conference returns to Turku. The conference brings together probabilists and statisticians from countries in the Northern Europe and the Baltic states to discuss recent developments on diverse topics in statistics and probability. NORDSTAT also warmly welcomes participants from other countries.

Prof. Paavo Salminen, a member of the steering group of the Center of Excellence in Optimization and Systems Engineering, was active on the program committee for the conference.
