 Excursion/Symposium Dinner

On Thursday evening, we will go for a cruise on the Steamship Ukkopekka to the island of Loistokari in the archipelago outside Turku. The cruise is an excellent way to enjoy the evening sun: on 26 June, the sun rises at 4.03 and sets at 23.04 in Turku!

Thursday 26.6, 19.00-23.00

After arriving at Loistokari, we are served a dinner buffet inspired by the Finnish archipelago, including lots of fish, barbeque – and live music.

The steamship leaves from the Aura River in the city centre at 19.00; at the symposium you will receive more information about the practical arrangements. Please note that the evening can get cold out at sea, even if it is light, so please bring a jacket and comfortable shoes.

More information about the cruise can be found at the following website: http://www.ukkopekka.fi/en/cruises/evening-cruises
