There will be a film screening event on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. We’ll be showing Kiwi Chow’s latest documentary entitled Revolution of Our Times (2021). The film is banned in Hong Kong but has been shown elsewhere in the world, including at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival. The film also won best documentary at Taiwan’s Golden Horse Awards in 2021.

The event takes place at 16:00 in aud. Helikon, Arken.

1. There is still time to sign up for Peter’s option course (5SP) which begins now on Thursday 3 February. You can even come along next Wednesday (via Zoom as shown in the ad) and then sign up.

2. With the ÅA rules on in-person teaching changing, Peter’s course will now be able to happen IN-PERSON (for this course, in-person only), starting in aud. Källan at 14.15 on Thursday 3 February!

Welcome to the first PREMIS seminar of 2022!

On 26 January 2022 (16:15-17:45), Kevin Wolke will present progress on his doctoral research into the twentieth-century American writers Henry Miller and Hubert Selby Jr. His title is ‘By Virtue of the Absurd: A Philosophical Reading of Henry Miller and Hubert Selby’.
