Thomas Kurz: Stretching Scientifically

This book is built on the experience of coaches and athletes in the former eastern bloc. Its well worth reading if one wants to know what one is doing while stretching. I reread it during the weekend since I recently started stretching a bit more again – I realized how tight my hip had become. The good thing about stretching is the quick results. After one week of morning stretching all of my little aches and pains are gone, and my flexibility has approved significantly. Now I am again pondering if I should aim for that split…
