  • Obligatoriskt block 15 sp. Kurserna ”Visuell analys” (period 3-4), ”Visual Semiotics and Storytelling” (period 3), Visual sociology and anthropology” (period 4).

VISUELL ANALYS,
5 sp (period 2 och 3, svenska)

Lärare Fred Andersson. Kod: 100905.0, även valbar i utbildningslinjen för språk.

Visual analysis, 5 ECTS (academic periods 3 and 4, Swedish).

OBS: Går parallellt med  Visual Semiotics and Storytelling (period 3) och Visual Sociology and Anthropology (period 4).

VISUALITY AND VISUALIZATION OF INFORMATION, 5 ECTS (English).

Teacher Fred Andersson and others. Code: VI00BM65.

For exchange students and ÅAU/UTU students (FHPT, FNT, BIMA).

Visualization is a technical field that has grown rapidly as a response to the increasing importance of pictures and infographics as aids in the transmission of scientific and other information. The technical field of visualization also utilizes psychological research on how we process visual information as a complement to text and speech. This course provides the basics for how visual information is processed by the human brain and how psychology and vision science has been applied in the development of more effective visualization strategies. Writing- and analysis tasks provide training in the evaluation of visualizations, and the ability to explain reasons for their strengths or weaknesses. The course is particularly useful for those who plan to use infographics or other types of visualizations in their future academic or practical work.

VISUELL RETORIK, PROPAGANDA OCH MARKNADSFÖRING, 5 sp (svenska).

Lärare Fred Andersson. Kod: 130031.0, även valbar i Internationell marknadsföring, FSEJ).

Visual rhetorics, propaganda and marketing, 5 ECTS (Swedish).

Examination: Åtta veckoinlämningar i Moodle.
