“Color Still Matters” is the fourth Social Exclusion annual seminar held as part of the Race, Racism, and Antiracism course.

During this event, students engaged in discussions about the contemporary landscape of race and conversations surrounding color in Finland. The seminar featured three keynote speakers, each delivering presentations both through Zoom and in person over the course of the day. Additionally, the event concluded with a panel discussion centered around issues of race and discrimination within academic environments.

To enhance the academic exchange, research findings from student participants were showcased on campus and in between scheduled events, providing opportunities for attendees to view the displays and engage in meaningful discussions.
