Colour Still Matters

Social Exclusion’s 3rd annual seminar in the course Race, Racism and Antiracism.

 

Keynote speakers this year were:

Maïmouna Jagne-Soreau, discussing  “The elephant in the room: post-migration literature and critical racialization and white studies in the Nordics”.
Leonardo Da Costa Custodio, discussing  “sociological and political imagination to decolonize international higher education in Finland”.
Minna Kristiina Seikkula, discussing “Innocence as a critical lens on antiracism”.
There was also a panel discussion on the theme “Race and Racism in Academia” with Emmy Wikström, Hai Nguyen and Jasmin Slimani as panellists.
